Landtmann's Original Guglhupf x Spanish Riding School
As part of a collaboration between the Spanish Riding School and the traditional Café Landtmann, these two historic institutions are reinventing the famous marble Guglhupf. Landtmann's Original Guglhupf is closely linked to the history of Café Landtmann and combines genuine confectionery craftsmanship, the highest quality, and a unique taste – delicate, moist, and aromatic. A Viennese tradition since 1873.
The limited edition round premium box was designed especially for this occasion and transports the viewer into the world of the Lipizzaner horses – a tribute to the 460-year history of the Spanish Riding School. With great sensitivity and a touch of playfulness, the Italian illustrator Chiara Perano – known for her minimalist, romantic visual language – has transformed the box into a poetic miniature flipbook: riders and Lipizzaner horses move gracefully between arcades, flanked by elements of the Winter Riding School such as chandeliers, red-white-red curtains, and classical architecture.
The color scheme is dominated by elegant restraint, accentuated by the unmistakable retro turquoise of Café Landtmann. Thus, the Guglhupf becomes a stage – for a unique story intertwined with tradition, aesthetics, and the Viennese way of life .
