Landtmann's Original Guglhupf x Spanish Riding School
As part of the collaboration between the Spanish Riding School and the venerable Café Landtmann , the two historic institutions are reimagining the famous Marmorguglhupf (Marble Guglhupf). Landtmann's Original Guglhupf is closely linked to the history of Café Landtmann and combines authentic confectionery craftsmanship, the highest quality, and a unique taste – tender, moist, and aromatic. A Viennese tradition since 1873.
The limited edition of the round premium box was designed especially for this occasion and transports visitors to the world of the Lipizzaner horses – a tribute to the 460-year history of the Spanish Riding School. With great sensitivity and a touch of playfulness, Italian illustrator Chiara Perano – known for her minimalist, romantic imagery – has transformed the box into a poetic miniature flip book: Riders and Lipizzaner horses dance between arcades, flanked by elements of the Winter Riding School such as chandeliers, red-white-red curtains, and classical architecture.
The colors are dominated by elegant restraint, accentuated by Café Landtmann's unmistakable retro turquoise. Thus, the Guglhupf becomes a stage for a unique story that combines tradition, aesthetics, and the Viennese spirit .
